Speech & background music

Concert & festival

Our audio goes out set up, tested and looked after
We do not dry-hire speakers, amplifiers or desks. A line array cabinet is easy to damage and a blown driver can end a show, so our audio is delivered, rigged, tuned and handed over working — with an operator for the event where the job needs one.
It costs no more than it should, and it means nobody spends your event troubleshooting. Staging is different — event professionals are welcome to dry-hire staging pieces, and we are happy to quote that on its own.
Sound hire questions we get asked most
Can I hire the PA on its own and set it up myself?
We do not dry-hire audio. Speakers, amplifiers and desks go out delivered, rigged, tuned and tested by our crew, with an operator where the job needs one. It protects your event from a blown driver or a system nobody can troubleshoot on the night, and it means the gear comes back ready for the next job.
Can you supply a sound engineer with the PA?
Yes. For anything with a live band, multiple speakers or a running order we recommend an engineer, and we will include one in the quote. For simple speech-and-music setups we set it up, test it and show you how to run it.
How big a PA do I need?
It depends on the audience size, the venue and what is on stage. As a rough guide a portable PA covers up to around 150 people for speech; a band in a hall needs subs and monitors; anything over a few hundred outdoors is line-array-on-towers territory. Tell us the details and we will size it.
Do you deliver and set up across Auckland?
Yes — delivery, setup, testing and pack-down are included in every quote, Auckland-wide. Events outside Auckland are by arrangement, and we have our own trucks.
Is the equipment suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. We hire outdoor line array and weather-appropriate cabling and power, and our inflatable stage cover keeps the stage and backline dry.
